Low-Carb Lunch Wraps
You don't have time to prepare a substantial lunch? Then these low-carb lunch wraps with fillings are a godsend. Fill the wraps with your favorite toppings, roll them up, and you've got yourself a tasty lunch. Also great for taking to work or eating on the go.
Sandwiches with horseradish for lunch
This recipe is based on our own wiresgeust wraps. These low-carb wraps from Spain are delicious and only have 4.4 grams of carbohydrates per wrap. As a result, you can customize the wraps with your favorite toppings. We went with a horseradish, carrot, tomato, and chicken breast filling.
Horseradish has a pungent flavor that is similar to mustard and radish. We also used mayonnaise to make it creamy. A wrap with this filling contains only 7.5 g of carbohydrates. In a nutshell, this is a quick and nutritious low-carb lunch!
You can modify this basic recipe to suit your tastes. If you don't like horseradish, substitute mayonnaise with herb cream cheese. 2 Keto wraps
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp horseradish
Pinch of garlic powder
Pinch of salt
25 gr arugula salad mix
30 gr carrot, jene
100 gr smoked chicken breast, slices
70 gr cherry tomatoes
Method of preparation
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, horseradish, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for the horseradish mayonnaise.
Spread the mayonnaise on two low-carb wraps, then cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
Then add the arugula, lettuce mixture, carrot, chicken breast slices, and tomatoes to the wraps. Roll the wraps up tightly. After that, cut in half and serve on a plate.
It's also convenient to take with you on the go if you wrap the wrap in aluminum foil. Have a delicious meal!
