Lettuce Wraps Filled with Turkey Breast and Bacon

Lettuce wraps stuffed with turkey breast and bacon make a delicious low-carb lunch!

These tasty lettuce wraps were stuffed with avocado, tomato, turkey breast, bacon, and basil mayonnaise. The lettuce wraps are convenient to pack as a lunch for work or school. The lettuce wraps can also be served as a main course with dinner. I used iceberg lettuce to make the lettuce wraps.

When shopping, choose the largest head of iceberg lettuce you can find; this will make rolling up the wraps much easier. I hope you enjoy it! If you have any questions or comments about the recipe, please leave them at the bottom of the page.

Mayonnaise with basil:

2–3 tablespoons mayonnaise

6 basil leaf

Optional: 1 crushed small garlic clove

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Wraps:

1 iceberg lettuce head

6 turkey or chicken breast slices

4 fried bacon slices

1 avocado, small

1 tomato, roma

Season with salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation

In a small food processor or blender, combine the mayonnaise, basil, crushed garlic, and lemon juice to make the basil mayonnaise. Turn on the device briefly to thoroughly mix everything. Then, on a large cutting board, slice the avocado and tomato.

Take the iceberg lettuce head and tear off the two largest leaves. Place two slices of chicken or turkey breast on top of each. Apply a thin layer of basil mayonnaise to the tops of the fillet slices.

On top of this layer, place a slice of turkey or chicken breast, bacon, tomato slices, and avocado. Season lightly with salt and pepper, then fold up the bottom of the lettuce wrap, the sides, and roll it up like a burrito. The lettuce wraps should be served cold.
