Ingredients
Casserole:
500 gr lean ground beef
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
100 gr pickle slices
75 g grated mozzarella
50 gr grated cheddar cheese
2 tbsp sesame seeds
400 g iceberg lettuce
salt and pepper to taste
Sauce:
50 ml mayonnaise
100 ml Greek yogurt, 10% fat
2 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tsp paprika powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Then cut the onion into small pieces and crush the garlic cloves. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large frying pan. Add the onion, garlic, ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to the pan.
Stir-fry the minced meat until done and let the excess moisture drain out. Meanwhile, make the Big Mac sauce by mixing all the sauce ingredients in a bowl. Place the ground beef in a large bowl and add the grated mozzarella and half of the Big Mac sauce.
Mix well and then spoon into a greased oven dish. Divide the pickle slices over the dish and sprinkle with the cheddar cheese and sesame seeds. Bake the Big Mac casserole in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Divide the sliced iceberg lettuce among four plates and serve with the minced meat and the remaining Big Mac sauce.
